林書豪和休士頓火箭隊，今天在主場迎戰9連敗的鳳凰城太陽隊，原本被認為可以輕鬆過關，沒想到太陽從谷底反彈，雙方纏鬥到最後一刻才分出勝負，火箭以101:98險勝太陽，也確定晉級季後賽，林書豪在這場比賽攻下13分，送出6次助攻，表現優異。
最近手感相當火熱的林書豪，上一場對金塊表現出色，攻下全隊最高的23分，而這場對太陽的比賽，第一節哈林連線發揮的不錯，第一節火箭領先8分，太陽雖然處於9連敗的低潮，但也不好惹，打完上半場，太陽反倒是以53比51領先2分。
第三節林書豪抄截得分助攻樣樣都來，也帶起火箭一波攻勢，同時也再度要回了領先優勢，決勝的第四節，時間剩下35秒，林書豪切入造成犯規，兩罰都進，雙方98平手，火箭大鬍子James Harden最後一擊，靠著太陽隊的妨礙中籃，終場火箭就以101比98險勝，送給太陽10連敗。
林書豪這場比賽上場37分鐘得到13分，送出6次助攻、籃板1個，抄截以及失誤則各2次，表現不錯另外，火箭目前西區排名第七非常的穩，林書豪將生涯首度打進季後賽，而他也在推特上宣佈，追隨者已經突破百萬大關，他非常的開心，先是「哇」的驚呼一聲，然後對100萬追隨者表示感謝，接下來就讓大鬍子Harden的追隨者也突破吧!(綜合報導)
