第3戰右胸挫傷的林書豪，昨闊別1個多禮拜重新練球，不過火箭隊總教練麥克海爾強調，林書豪今天上場與否，仍看他能否保護自己，「我告訴林書豪，他必須做些對抗訓練，假如他無法保護自己，上場就無績效。」
火箭昨天雖未進行正式練習，僅在休息室內看比賽錄影檢討，結束後部分球員自主前往訓練館練球，林書豪也是其中之一。麥克海爾表示，他會先觀察林書豪狀況，再來考慮林書豪上場可能。
可是林書豪缺席的第4與第5戰火箭都拿勝，頂替先發的貝弗利逐漸喧賓奪主，就連布魯克斯前役也從替補貢獻10分；也讓今天林書豪是重回先發？或板凳出擊？連3場缺陣？恐怕要等開打才知。
幸好火箭總管莫雷力挺林書豪，昨接受電台訪問表示，林書豪接近回來了，第6戰有機會復出，「林書豪是個好球員，有他回來是好事，我們沒有他，根本不可能闖進季後賽。」
休士頓球迷高喊火箭有望成為史上首支從0比3逆轉球隊之際，姚明卻不樂觀。他認為這個系列戰最後仍由雷霆勝出，問題只是火箭可以多贏幾場，但他稱讚火箭表現已屬不易，且越打越好。■ 新聞專輯／林書豪旋風
