火箭隊在今天敗給雷霆被淘汰後，也結束了今年賽季，林書豪繳出平均13.4分和6.1助攻的成績，雖然不像林來瘋時那麼耀眼，但還是稱職的控衛，不過在季後賽，林書豪的數據掉到平均4分2助攻，手感低靡，這也讓部分美國媒體開始預測，以火箭隊積極找球員的風格，今年夏天會有大動作，除了一定會爭取湖人中鋒Howard加盟，也存在交易林書豪補強的可能性。
球賽主播：「林書豪3分外線，這場比賽第一次出手就進了。」
3分線外命中，在第2節幫助球隊追趕比數，傷後復出的林書豪從替補出發，這是他本場唯一的得分紀錄。球賽主播：「林書豪切到禁區之後，這個假動作有沒有犯規？沒有。」
隱約看的出胸部傷勢還沒完全復原，出手都沒過去流暢，打的跌跌撞撞，尤其第3節一次3分外線出手，投了個麵包，似乎信心不夠，患得患失，攻、守兩端沒有出色表現，火箭想贏也難。
休士頓火箭隊林書豪：「我還有很大很大的進步空間，我希望有太多事情能在這次季後賽做得更好，我了解到好球員和偉大球員的分別。」
雖然只是生平第一次打季後賽，還有時間回來雪恥，但球季的最後一場比賽，林書豪只得到3分，沒有助攻，和季賽成績相比，平均上場32分12秒，13.4分，6.1助攻，不耀眼但稱職，可到了季後賽，上場掉到只有21分多，平均4分2助攻，有段落差。
而原本替補他的控衛Beverley這幾場有聲有色。球賽主播：「放慢再度加速，360度轉身，哇！」
甚至季後賽的最後3場，林書豪被傷勢困擾時，教練McHale把防守較好的Beverley擺到先發，還贏了兩場，美國媒體因而開始猜測林書豪動向，第1個可能性是，對林書豪本來就不太信任的教練McHale，或許下季會把2人先發和替補的角色對調。
第2個可能性是原本主打外圍的哈林連線，如果外號魔獸的湖人明星中鋒Howard轉投火箭，戰術一定變成內外串連的哈獸連線。
第3個可能性是雖然火箭也可能尋求交易林書豪，不過目前沒有相關消息，最大可能性還是維持現狀，但勢必積極補強的火箭，如果做出和林書豪有關的爆炸性交易，也不必太驚訝。■ 新聞專輯／林書豪旋風
